Simple Internet Media Service, or SIMS, is an open standard web API for cloud-based commercial media services with support for connected TV and portable devices. The SIMS specification is published under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license. SyncTV is an open content service platform based upon the SIMS open standard web APIs.
SyncTV provides SyncTV Kids as a test service for device and web site developers. To get started, simply read the SCDL page here. In this page you will find an XML document which contains a list of all the WADLs for the service. The WADLs contain a breakdown of each API interface.
SyncTV also provides a simple JavaScript library for drop-in widgets which you can place on your web page to get up and running faster. Go here to view an example web page using the SyncTV JavaScript API.
